Company History

Mushroom Systems was founded in 1988 by the current CEO/CTO, Warwick Prince. Initially established as a dedicated software design house, our primary focus revolved around crafting tailored ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for the Floorcovering industry.

In our inaugural decade, we swiftly ascended to a prominent position within Australia and New Zealand, driven by the success of our flagship product, "Roll Model." Our capabilities extended beyond standard offerings as we undertook bespoke design projects. Notably, Mushroom Systems conceived, developed, and supported the Flight Information Display Systems for Brisbane International Airport, offering unwavering 24/7 support to the Brisbane Airports Corporation over many years.

Subsequently, in the early 2000s, we embarked on a transformative journey, transitioning our core technologies from C and C++ to Python. This shift ignited a surge in productivity and innovation, paving the way for the development of our current cutting-edge solution stack, the Dynamic Application Platform (DAP).

Today, Mushroom Systems commands a robust presence in the Transport and Logistics domain, as well as Warehousing and Cold Storage sectors. Our unwavering commitment to innovation and service underscores our dedication to delivering the most flexible and high-performance solutions to our valued clientele.
